Kharst Landscape is an ongoing portrait project about people and their interaction with the natural world. Ask any hunter, fisherman, geocacher, or 4th grade field tripper, it is not the reason that brought them out of their daily routine that matters most, but where that reason brought them. A Kharst topography involves collapsed underwater rivers and caves responsible for most of an area's landscape formations. My work illustrates how, and for what reasons, the modern human reenters the natural world and the outcome of these experiences.
